Gestalt Automation als Teil des Digitalisierungs-Projekts ELIO

Gestalt Automation received - after a fiercely contested bidding phase - the award for the Digitalization Station project with the ELIO - Innovation Lab for Object Digitization at the Museum of Natural History at the Museum of Natural History (MfN) in Berlin.

Our team had the opportunity to meet the ELIO team at the kickoff: Lisa Pfeiffer, Bernhard Schurian, Eran Wolff, Jakob Müller, Romy Campe, Alexander Bertram among others. Thank you for the warm welcome and the intense exchange!

We look forward to developing a robust and future-proof digitalization station together that:
🔹 Accelerates and standardizes the digitization of natural history objects
🔹 Is applicable for institutions of all sizes
🔹 Can handle a wide range of object sizes, shapes, and materials: From insects to botanical specimens
🔹 Features a modular design suitable for laboratories, storage, or exhibition environments
🔹 Emphasizes robustness, energy efficiency, and resource-conscious components, in line with ecological and economic sustainability goals

Our Gestalt team Puya Ebrahimi, Max Beer, Judy Hess, Müslüm Ider, and Roberto Mendieta Lopez, Martin Neumann and others are motivated to participate in this step into the scientific future.
